Last year we took a look at Scythe’s Fuma 2 Rev. B CPU cooler and were really impressed, not only with its performance, but also its price. Well Scythe is back with the Fuma 3! This new cooler features the same dual-tower, dual-fan design with six heatpipes, but they have increased the fin density for better cooling performance. On top of that you are going to get 100% RAM compatibility and some very nice finishes compared to previous models. Is this going to be the new high-end air cooler to get? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Scythe for providing us with the Fuma 3 CPU Cooler to review.
Price at time of Review: $49.99 (Amazon)
Specifications
Packaging
The Fuma 3 comes in a very nice retail package. On the front there is a picture of the cooler and it lets us know it supports both the LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 sockets. Flipping around to the back we have a list of specifications in a handful of different languages.
There is also information on the sides of the boxes as well including the dimensions of the cooler and information on the warranty.
Taking everything out of the box we have the Fuma 3 heatsink, two fans, mounting hardware, fan clips, thermal paste and paste spreader tool, PWM splitter, and a user’s manual.
