Scythe has recently introduced their Fuma 2 Rev. B CPU Cooler. Their original Fuma 2 was a massive hit not only for the performance, but also how quiet it was. With the new revision of this cooler Scythe has added their new Kaze Flex II fans, which have a higher static pressure and more stable airflow, you are also going to get support for the LGA 1700 socket so the cooler now supports current-gen processors. Besides that you still have the same dual-tower, dual-fan design with 100% RAM compatibility and Scythe’s easy to install H.P.M.S. IV mounting system. Is this going to be the air cooler to get in 2022? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Scythe for providing us with the Fuma 2 Rev. B CPU Cooler to review.
The Fuma 2 Rev. B comes in Scythe’s typical retail packaging which is always very detailed. On the front there is a picture of the cooler and it lets us know the cooler is LGA 1700 compatible. One one side of the cooler there is a full overview of the cooler and list of specifications. On the other side many of the features of the cooler are detailed. Finally on the back there is information on the warranty in a few different languages.
Getting everything out of the box we have the Fuma 2 Rev. B heatsink, the two Kaze Flex II fans, mounting hardware and thermal paste, a screwdriver, and user’s guide.
