Finding a good air cooler for a small form factor or low-profile build can be hard. Many coolers that are made for small form factor systems still have a lot of clearance issues and some can be extremely hard to install. Scythe wants to solve that with their Shuriken 3. The Shuriken 3 is only 39mm tall (including the fan) making it one of the smallest CPU coolers that we’ve ever reviewed! The big question is will it actually provide enough cooling power? The Shuriken 3 comes in Scythe’s typical retail packaging which is quite informative and has all of the information you would want to know about the cooler itself. It also lets us know that it is compatible with both LGA 1700 and AM5 sockets.
Opening the box up inside we find the Shuriken 3 CPU cooler, mounting hardware, thermal paste, and installation instructions.
