SilverStone Grandia Series GD08 HTPC Case Review

A Look Inside
Getting inside the case is very easy, just remove the 2 screws on the back of the case and you can remove the top panel.  Taking a look inside there is actually a good amount of room available.  The GD08 supports mATX, ATX and even extended ATX motherboards.

Towards the front of the case is where all of your hard drives and optical drives will be installed.  You can fit a total of eight 3.5-inch hard drives, two 2.5-inch hard drives and two optical drives.  So if you are going to be using this case as a media machine you sure can fill it up with drives!

This drive cage is actually completely removable for easy installation of your drives.  You need to remove six screws then pull up on it using the two handles.

Once it is removed we can get a good look at the front fans and all of the cables.  It is nice to see an internal USB 3.0 header here.
