SilverStone SETA Q1 Case Review

A Look Inside

Removing the main side panel we find it lined with sound dampening material. This material is on both of the side panels. With the panel removed we can see that we have a pretty standard two compartment design.

Looking at the motherboard tray this case will actually support SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. You will notice two covers towards the front of the case. These can slide towards the front of the case to make room for E-ATX motherboards, and can be fully removed if you want to installed SSI form factor boards. These covers also have mounting points on them for things like pumps or SSDs, each one can support a single SSD.

Removing the opposite side panel we can get a better look at the backside of the case. Here we can see all of the different cable routing and there are plenty of tie-down points. You’ll find two removable SSD trays on the backside of the motherboard tray. These are held in place by a single thumbscrew which makes them easy to remove to install your drives.

At the bottom of the case is where you’ll mount your power supply and then towards the front of the case you’ll find a removable hard drive cage. This hard drive cage will support two 3.5-inch drives. So in total, out of the box, this case supports up to six hard drives.
