SilverStone Shows New CS-01 & CS01-HS Mini-ITX Cases

We have always known SilverStone for some very beautiful cases and they have just the right one for the mini-ITX crowd. At CES 2015 they were showing their brand new CS01 and CS01-HS cases. These cases have a really awesome aluminum finish to them and will look great on your desk on in an office.

Both the CS01 and CS01-HS will be available in both black and silver versions. The outer structure of the case is made of aluminum, which gives the case such a great look. Each case will support a mini-ITX motherboard, a single-slot PCI-Express card and a power supply. So this case is aimed more at the home theater or home server crowd.

SilverStone CS01 & CS01-HS

The difference between the CS01 and CS01-HS is that the HS version stands for “high storage”. So in the HS version you will have six 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays. These are true hot-swap too, so there is actually a PCB at the bottom of the hot-swap module. There are also two more 2.5-inch drive bays in the CS01-HS giving you a total of 8 possible hard drive.

The CS01 on the other hand has two 3.5-inch drive bays and two 2.5-inch hard drive bays. Both cases also have a bottom mounted 120 mm fan, which does have a pull-out filter.
