NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Likely To Be Locked

You may want to lower your hopes and expectations for the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, because according to unnamed sources in a story over at eTeknix, the GTX 1070 Ti will have its clocks locked. This restriction will be present on AIB vendors' custom designs, as it appears NVIDIA will not be selling a reference card of their own.

NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti Specifications Leaked

In a world of constant product leaks and early product listings, it should come as no surprise that specifications for NVIDIA's rumored GTX 1070 Ti have leaked. The folks over at Tech ARP have updated their original story about the GTX 1070 Ti to included additional details as they have been obtained. According to Tech ARP's sources, the GTX 1070 Ti will be launched on October 26th with an MSRP of $429, and availability beginning on November 2nd.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X To Have Idle Fan-off Mode

On NVIDIA's latest releases, the GTX 970 and 980 we saw many add-in card (AIC) partners that use custom cooling solutions feature a idle-fan off mode. This feature allows for the fans on the card to turn completely off when the card is at idle or below a temperature threshold. This in turn makes the card completely silent when you are not gaming. NVIDIA is planning at add this feature to their next generation GeForce GTX Titan X graphics card.
