GeForce RTX 2070 Ti Rumors

The GeForce RTX 2070 Ti will have the TU104 GPU and will be faster than the current RTX 2070, but slower than the RTX 2080. It is rumored to have 2560 CUDA cores, which is a slight bump over the 2304 CUDA cores of the RTX 2070, but less than the 2944 CUDA cores of the RTX 2080. The RTX 2070 Ti will retain 14 Gbps 8GB GDDR6 memory and have a boost clock of 1710 MHz. The current RTX 2070 has a boost clock of 1620 MHz with the Founder’s Edition going up to 1710 MHz. So with the boost clock and higher scores we should see a 10-15% increase in performance.

This performance would make the card very much like the GTX 1070 Ti, which had very similar performance to the GTX 1080, but had a $100 lower price point. With AMD’s Navi graphics cards right around the corner could this be the card to compete against AMD when they release their cards?
