Thermaltake Ceres 300 TG ARGB Case Review

Thermaltake Ceres 300 TG ARGB Overview

Taking a first look at the Ceres 300 TG ARGB you can see that we have the white version of the case. Thermaltake is currently offering this case in white, black, and matcha green. This is a pretty compact case, as the official dimensions are only 475 x 245 x 463 mm and it weighs in at only 17.2 lbs without any hardware installed.

Starting at the front of the case we can see that Thermaltake has ventilated the front panel with large circular openings. These will provide unrestricted airflow into the case.

Towards the bottom of the front of the case there is a small Thermaltake logo. Right under this section is a pull-out filter that extends the entire length of the case.

Pulling up on the bottom of the front of the case the front bezel will easily pop off. The front bezel does feature an integrated filter that is removable. With the front of the case removed we can see the two included 140 mm fans mounted on the front cooling mount. This mount supports up to three 120 mm fans and radiators up to 360 mm.

Moving up to the top of the case we have our buttons and connections. From left to right we have a small reset button, headphone and microphone jacks, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 gen 2 Type-C port, power and hard drive activity LEDs, and a large power button.

The top of the case has the same type of ventilation pattern as the front, so again lots of airflow here. There is a magnetic filter that can easily be removed from the case so you can clean it as well as install fans / radiators on the top of the case. The top of the case can support up to three 120 mm fans and radiators up to 280 mm.

The main side panel is a tempered glass panel. The interesting thing about it compared to most is that it only extends as far as the main compartment of the case. This side panel is held into place by two thumbscrews, not latches or a tool-less system here. The opposite side panel is all white and has some ventilation down towards the bottom.

At the back of the case we have a pretty standard layout with a fan towards the top, our motherboard mount, and then our power supply mount at the bottom. The rear fan is also a 140mm fan, but it is just a normal fan. It is white however, so it is going to match the case quite well. The fan mount will also support a 120 mm fan.
