Tt eSPORTS Team DK Edition Chronos Gaming Headset Overview
Taking a closer look at the Chronos, out of the box it comes with a carry pouch and two cables. The white cable terminates in your standard 3.5mm stereo and mic connection and a USB connection. The USB portion is used to power the red LED’s on the headset ear cups. It also features an inline mute control for convenience. The red cable also features a standard 3.5mm plug and is designed for use with your mobile phone or other mobile devices.
The ear cups house a 40mm driver unit, and as previously mentioned the outer side of the ear cups will glow red when the USB portion of the cable is plugged in. Another great feature is that the ear cups can be rotated so the headset can lay flat and it makes it easy for storage or transport. The ear cups use a cushion on the firmer side which is covered in a performance Lycra material.
Three segmented cushions, also using the same Lycra material as the ear cups line the head band. The headband does offer a bit of flex and is adorned with the Tt eSPORTS logo. The Chronos also has multiple size adjustments through the headband, which slides and locks easily in place.
The omni-direction mic is attached to the left ear cup and the grey portion of the mic is easily bendable so it can be adjusted to a comfortable distance from your mouth. Below the mic you can also see the cable input for either the PC or smart phone cable.
