Upcoming TITAN GT77 HX 13V Gaming Laptop From MSI Will Feature 4K 144Hz MiniLED Display

MSI has officially stated that next week it will release a new high-end gaming laptop with the fastest high-resolution display. The business confirmed in a press statement that the successor to TITAN GT77 would be built on the 13th Generation Core Intel CPU series with 24 cores.

The only aspect of the new system that MSI can reveal at this moment is the new screen, which is also its major feature. The upgraded TITAN GT77 laptop will sport a 4K 144Hz MiniLED display, which is an improvement above the previous generation’s 4K 120Hz panel.

MSI confirmed that this panel is based on AUO AmLED MiniLED technology and can produce up to 1000 nits of brightness. It will also be DisplayHDR 1000 compliant, according to speculations. This panel includes 1008 dimming zones, which should produce excellent results on a 17-inch display. Each panel will be “strictly checked,” according to MSI, which may imply that at least some factory calibration remains.

The official teaser suggests that the only modifications made to the HX 13V model will be to the display and internal components, given that the chassis seems identical to that of the previous generation. This model, according to reports, will also have GeForce RTX 40 mobile GPUs, potentially the top RTX 4090 GPU.

MSI confirmed that this laptop will release in less than a week at CES 2023. The additional information, such as the  battery capacity, is confirmed by the leaked slides; however, the 12th Gen model already had similar features.
