WD Announces BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD

Today, WD has released a new entry-level SSD, The WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD. It is an NVMe M.2 SSD that supports PCI-Express4.0 (x4) connection. WD offers the SSD in three storage capacities: 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB.

1 TB variant offers a sequential read speed of 3,600MB / sec. It also has a write speed of 2,830MB / sec and a random read of 525,000 IOPS. The random write is at 640,000 IOPS and has a write endurance of 600TBW. The 500 GB offers a sequential read of 3,600MB / sec and a write speed of 2,000MB / sec. The random read and write IOPs are at 360,000 and 480,000 IOPS, respectively, and have a writing endurance of 300TBW. Last but not least, we have the 250GB variant, which offers a sequential read of 3,200MB / sec and a read speed of 1,000MB / sec. The random read and write IOPS are at 190,000 IOPS, 240,000 respectively, and have a writing endurance of 200TBW.

Although with the SSD PCI-Express 4.0 (x4) connection, the transfer speed is almost the same as a PCI-Express3.0 based SSD.
