Zalman Z7 Plus Mid Tower Case Review

Z7 Plus Overview
The Z7 Plus has a pretty simple mid tower design.  There really isn’t much about the case that jumps out at me.  The Z7 Plus has an all black design, which most cases do these days.  Looking at the front of the case you can see Zalman has gone with an all mesh design on the front bezel.  This helps with cooling and looks good as well.

On the front of the case you have 4 5.25-inch external bays and way at the bottom a single 3.5-inch external drive bay.

Towards the top of the case there is a Zalman logo that will actually light up when the case is powered on.  Behind that is a large power button and a compartment.  When you open the compartment up you will find all of your connections, which include audio, 2x USB 2.0 and eSATA.

Moving along to the side of the case you can see a large mesh section.  Behind this is a single 120mm fan, with room for another one.  There is also a small fan control that will allow you to turn the fan up or down as needed.

The back of the case is pretty basic.  You can see Zalman included 2 holes for water cooling and that the power supply will be placed at the top of the case.  There is also a 120mm exhaust fan.  Of course with most cases these days the side panels have thumbscrews on them for easy access to the inside of your case.
