The blower-style RTX 4070 graphics card isn’t a novel idea, as two other competitors already offer similar models. The ZOTAC RTX 4070 doesn’t particularly distinguish itself—it lacks factory overclocking, non-standard power connectors, and unique display ports. Essentially, the ZOTAC Blower is just the company’s way of rounding out its product lineup.
The RTX 4070 Blower comes with 5888 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory (unlike the non-X variant we’re still waiting for). It uses a single 8-pin power connector, similar to other RTX 4070 models. This design indicates that the card isn’t intended for cluster setups or AI acceleration tasks.
The ZOTAC RTX 4070 Blower is officially marketed as a gaming GPU, specifically targeting Small Form Factor (SFF) gaming PCs. It also fits within NVIDIA’s SFF-Ready program, though it’s important to mention that even bulkier 2.5-slot cards can still qualify for this category.
This concept isn’t new—ASUS has already released its RTX 4070 Turbo, and PNY has its RTX 4070 Blower model available as well. At the moment, the ZOTAC RTX 4070 Blower is listed by a single retailer in Poland, but pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
