There is no denying it, streaming has taken off in the last year, and this segment of the gaming industry is predicted to keep growing for years to come. Unfortunately, many gamers can’t stream at optimal settings with just a single PC, and will require the use of a second streaming PC in addition to their gaming rig. To make things a bit easier on these users, ZOTAC has created the MI553B Personal Streaming Mini PC. The MI553B has a built-in AVerMEdia CN311-H M.2 capture card onboard, capable of taking a 4K, 30FPS input via a front-mounted HDMI port. Taking the streaming duties away from the gaming PC will free up its resources, while the MI553B will take on those duties, resulting in a much smoother stream.
The specifications below are nothing crazy, but the inclusion of the AVerMedia card will really help get things rolling in a dual-system streaming setup.
CPU – Intel Core i5-7300HQ
Video – Intel HD Graphics 630
Memory – 8GB DDR4 (Up to 32GB)
Storage – 120GB M.2 SSD
Capture Card – AVerMedia CN311-H M.2 Capture Card (1 x HDMI input, 4K @ 30Hz)
Cooling – Fan & Heatsink
OS & Software – Windows 10 Home 64-bit, Streamlabs OBS
We expect to see the MI553B become available towards the end of Q1, so keep an eye out for it if you are considering streaming with dual-system setup.
