The Intel news train has been running at full steam this week, and up next is the sighting of an upcoming Z390 chipset for their enthusiast consumer line. While we have known about the impending Z370 chipset, the Z390 will release sometime in the second half of 2018. Since we have no specification details about the Z390 chipset, it is currently anyone’s guess as to what might be in store for Coffee Lake enthusiasts.
The rumored launch of Intel’s 8th-Gen Coffee Lake CPUs and chipsets in early October seems to fit with what we are seeing in the table above, with the Z370 coming first, and the H370 and H310 chipsets showing up in Q1 of 2018.
