We’ve been following ADATA’s “SE” line of portable solid state drives for quite a while now. We’ve reviewed the SE730H (USB 3.2 gen 1) and then the SE800 (USB 3.2 gen 2) and today we are taking a look at the new SE880. This drive features a much smaller footprint than the previous drives, which makes the drive totally pocketable, and this is a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 drive giving it speeds of up to 2000 MB/s! I love portable solid state drives and the fact they keep on getting faster is awesome! They make perfect game drives, video editing drives, and more! Let’s take a look at the SE880 and see what it can do!
Special thanks to ADATA for providing us with the SE800 Portable Solid State Drive to review!
Specifications
Packaging
The ADATA SE880 comes in ADATA’s typical retail packaging. On the front of the box there is a picture of the drive and lets us know the capacity, which in our case is 1TB. The drive is also available in a 500GB version. Flipping over to the back there is a list of specifications and system requirements.
Getting everything out of the box you’ll find the SE880 drive, a USB Type-C cable, USB Type-C to Type-A cable, and a user’s guide.
