ADATA’s XPG Photon Gaming Monitor Seen at CES 2020

While we typically think of ADATA’s XPG as a memory, storage, and peripheral brand, we can now add gaming displays to the list. Unveiled at CES 2020, the XPG Photon is a 27″ 4K monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Adding to the obvious gamer statistics of this TN panel monitor is a 95% or higher DCI-P3 rating, for those content creators that might be able to utilize it. Additionally, the Photon can be configured with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and an increased refresh rate of 240Hz, with a brightness of 600 nits.

The backside of the monitor has an illuminated triangular shape surrounding where the adjustable stand connects, for that cool ambient light glow look. Additionally, the backside of the Photon has a cloth material covering the back that gives the monitor a bit of a different look. compared to your standard plastic.

And speaking of the stand, ADATA will be including an articulating arm that is leaps and bounds better than the standard types of monitor stands we are accustomed to. This arm simply clamps to your surface of choice, and give a wider range of movement than a normal monitor stand.
