Samsung is reportedly putting their final touches on an affordable M.2 PCIe solid state drive, which will be called the 750 EVO. This drive will be significantly cheaper than the company’s 950 Pro drive, but still will offer transfer rates that are faster than the company’s fastest solid state drive.
The drive will make use of the NVMe protocol which will give it significantly higher random-access performance. The drive is likely to feature the company’s latest TLC flash tech as well. Expect a late-November launch for these drives.
