Another Day Another Discount, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X drops to $569

Another day, another sale price reduction for AMD’s 7000-series Ryzen processors. Amazon introduced a $10 discount for Ryzen 5 7600X just two days ago, significantly reducing the price of the 6-core Zen4 CPU to $239. New pricing for the 16-core model is currently being implemented by retailers as well.

The Ryzen 9 7950X processor is now available for $568.99 at several retailers. Although this is not a record-breaking price, it is the lowest it has been in almost a month. This pricing is available on retailers like Amazon and Newegg, but not on AMD’s own store.

The issue with the Ryzen 7000 series, however, is no longer the price of the chips but the platform as a whole. Upgrading to DDR5 memory and 600-series motherboards are both pricey. The cost of the Ryzen 7000 processor might eventually stabilize if AMD and its partners and memory providers can find a timely solution. Otherwise, we would soon have to report on another discount.
