Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition Case Overview
The Flux Pro Noctua Edition is of course based on the original Antec Flux Pro case. It is essentially the same case, but we have a few color changes and of course it is going to come with the six Noctua fans. In general the case is what I would call a standard full tower case with official dimensions of 530 x 245 x 545 mm (DWH). It also weighs in at just under 30 lbs without any hardware installed.
At the front of the case we have an metal mesh design, which means this is going to be a high airflow case. The actual mesh has a cool design on it, which really makes it stand out. Surrounding the mesh section is a wooden frame. This is real wood and looks great! There is even “Antec X Noctua” engraved into it.
There is a large filter that pulls out from the bottom-front of the case. This filter extends the entire length of the case.
The front part of the case is pull off. With it removed we have a cooling mount that supports three 120mm / 140mm fans as well as radiators up to 420mm. This cooling mount can be fully removed from the case.
Moving up to the top of the case we can see that Antec has changed the top of this case to the signature Noctua brown color and there is also a small Noctua logo up here. Most of the top panel is ventilated, but to one side you’ll find your buttons and connection which include a temperature switch button (more on this in a bit), a USB 3.2 gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, combination headphone and microphone jack, a small reset button, and a larger reset button. I really like that the case ships with covers on the ports. You can easily remove the top panel to reveal a cooling bracket. This cooling bracket has the same support as the front bracket so three 120mm / 140mm fans as well as radiators as large as 420mm.
Moving to the main side panel of the case we have a split-panel design with about 80% of the side being a tempered glass side panel and then a ventilated panel that covers the bottom compartment of the case. Antec has changed the color of this ventilated panel from black to the Noctua brown. There is a small Noctua logo in the corner of the tempered glass panel and you’ll also find a small display on the ventilated panel. This small display will show both CPU and GPU temperature once you configure it with Antec’s software.
The opposite side panel is a plain steel panel, but it does have some ventilation towards the bottom.
The back of the case is mostly ventilated and we have a placement for either a 120mm or 140mm fan, our motherboard mount, and then our power supply mount on the bottom. There is a true full tower case as we have a total of eight expansion slot covers. You will notice the power supply cover has an embedded plug. This is because we have a rotated power supply layout that will support power supplies as long as 180mm. If you have a longer unit you can use the included power supply mounting frame and mount your power supply the more traditional way.
