Positioned as a smaller, more affordable sibling to the premium Y70, the Y50 doesn’t feel like a stripped-down budget box. It ships with four RGB fans pre-installed, supports E-ATX, ATX, mATX, and ITX motherboards, and — notably for a case at this price — offers native compatibility with rear-connect platforms like ASUS BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH, and MSI Project ZERO. A stair-stepped internal floor frees up extra clearance for radiators and cable routing, while the case supports up to a 410mm, 46mm-thick radiator up top for serious cooling headroom. What all comes with the HYTE Y50 RGB PC Case?
The HYTE Y50 RGB comes in your standard case box with a diagram of the case itself on the front. HYTE’s tagline for this case is “Essential Aesthetic Case” which makes sense as this is their lowest price entry into their Y-series of cases. On the side of the box you’ll find a full list of specifications.
Opening the box up we find the Y50 RGB nicely protected. There is a plastic bag over the entire case and each side panel has a film on it to prevent it from getting damaged.
Inside the case you’ll find a user’s guide as well as a box of accessories. These include mounting hardware, a handful of zip ties, and two larger Velcro ties.
