ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming SLI/ac Preview

Final Thoughts
I really like the idea of ASRock bringing their gaming brands together across multiple products. Remember ASRock launched the Phantom Gaming series with their AMD graphics cards earlier this year and it is nice to see Phantom Gaming motherboards. I hope that ASRock keeps this line alive, as it would be nice to have a unified ASRock Gaming line that gamers can identify with.

With that said the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming SLI/ac is a great Z390 board from what we’ve seen so far. Obviously since the Intel embargo does not lift till next week we cannot show off any performance results or even what the BIOS looks like, but definitely stop back next week for all of that. The Z390 Phantom Gaming SLI/ac sits directly in the middle of the Phantom Gaming series and will provide a good mixture of features for gamers. The one that ASRock is really touting is the 2.5 Gigabit LAN provided by the Realtek Dragon RTL8125AG, which will definitely be good for gaming.

Also on this board you have dual Turbo M.2 (PCIe x4) slots, ASRock’s Purity Sound 4, Support for SLI and Crossfire, 802.11ac WiFi, USB 3.1 gen 2 ports, and of course RGB. If you are looking to pick up a 9th generation Intel processor this board would be a great compliment to it, whether you are a gamer or not.

Stay tuned for our full review of the Z390 Phantom Gaming SLI/ac next week!
