Lights, The Moving Gear & Software
When it comes to lighting on the board you have lighting along the edge of the board, on the chipset heatsink (link to be covered by your GPU, and on the I/O cover.
If you are familiar with ASRock Taichi board they’ve always had gears or “clockwork” art on them. For the longest time I always thought it would be cool if these would actually rotate, well with the Z590 one of them does! The one on the rear I/O cover moves and I have to say it is pretty damn cool! In the BIOS you can set the interval it rotates at with the lowest being every 5 minutes and the highest being 60 minutes. You can of course turn the function off as well.
You can use ASRock’s App Shop to download all of your drivers and software for the Z590 Taichi.
ASRock’s motherboard utility is called A-Tuning. Opening up on the first screen you can select a operation mode.
Next is the OC Tweaker tab where you can do all of your system tuning.
Next is System Info which gives you a live view of all of your frequencies, ratios, temperatures, and voltages.
Finally there is FAN-Tastic tuning which allows you to tune and set custom fan curves for each fan connected to your system.
