ASUS has revealed their Radeon RX 7900 TUF Series! The company has finalized no specifications or price, but the design is complete. It has three slots and a complete metal backplate and will feature a dual-BIOS switch.
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX and the RX 7900 XT both will adopt this architecture. This model, according to ASUS, needs three 8-pin power connectors, making it one more than the AMD standard design. It’s worth noting that these are conventional power connections; no adapters are necessary. ASUS’s brand-new TUF Radeon series is the company’s first gaming card lineup to enable the technology known as DisplayPort 2.1.
The ASUS TUF RX 7900XTX is expected to feature 12288 cores and 24GB of GDDR6 memory, while the RX 7900XT will have 10752 cores and 20GB of memory. Usually TUF Series cards are priced very close to MSRP so we can expect cheap custom designs alternative to AMD reference cards. According to ASUS, these cards will become available in December.
