Back in August we heard rumors of ASUS working with Noctua to develop custom graphics card cooling solutions. The EEC listing referenced a “RTX3070-8G-NOCTUA” which we assumed as a GeForce RTX 3070 with some type of Noctua cooling. Well it turns out our assumptions were right as the first pictures of the card have been posted on the ASUS Vietnam Facebook group.
This three-slot RTX 3070 features two of Noctua’s cooling fans and has Noctua’s iconic brown color theme. The card has dual 8-pin power connectors and connectors include three DisplayPort and two HDMI. The card does appear to have a full-cover backplate on it, but we cannot see what is on it. It would be really cool if it had some sort of Noctua logo on it. The top-edge of the card says ASUS x Noctua.
The photos were quickly removed from the Facebook group so not much more is known at this point.
