ASUS has introduced its latest gaming laptop, available in two versions, which features AMD’s Strix APUs. The new model, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16, is equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 HX APUs, designed to enhance AI processing speed. The laptop includes an integrated NPU to boost AI performance, improve productivity, and also offers discrete GPU options from the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace series.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 laptop is capable of handling several AMD Ryzen AI tasks, including hand gesture recognition and eye gaze correction. Additionally, it will support Windows Copilot tools, such as local email summarization. The Zephyrus G16 can be configured with up to an RTX 4070 laptop GPU, providing enhanced gaming performance and quicker 3D graphics rendering. With its built-in NPU, the laptop will also help users with tasks like photo and video editing, as well as image generation.
The NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPUs offer features like DLSS 3.0 Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction for the latest games. Users can choose between two GPU options for the laptop: the high-performance RTX 4070 or the more affordable RTX 4060, depending on their needs. The laptop is equipped with an impressive 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED display with a resolution of 2560x1600p, delivering vibrant and sharp visuals. With a super-fast 0.2ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, the laptop is well-suited for smooth gameplay, ideal for competitive gaming.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 features a finely crafted CNC-milled aluminum body, offering durability while maintaining a slim and lightweight design. Weighing just 4.08 lbs and with a thickness ranging from 0.59″ to 0.65″, it’s easy to slip into a backpack and carry anywhere with ease.
Users can choose between 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X 7500 MHz memory, and storage options of either a 1TB or 2TB PCI-E 4.0 SSD. Both models come with the same connectivity features, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connections, multiple high-speed USB ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card reader, and an audio jack.
The laptops are equipped with a reliable 90Wh battery for extended use, and both models are now available for purchase on the ASUS Store and at Best Buy.
