General Usage on the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2025) Gaming Laptop
I’ve been using the ROG Strix G16 for the past few weeks now and I have really been enjoying it. I really like that over the past few years so many brands have moved to a 16:10 aspect ratio for their displays. So here we have the 16-inch 2560 x 1600 display with a 240 Hz refresh rate. This of course is going to be great for gaming, but also really good for multi-tasking. You can easily run two windows side-by-side.
When it comes to using the keyboard I actually did enjoy it quite a lot. It was very comfortable not only for gaming, but also for normal typing and productivity. I actually ended up using the number pad on the touchpad quite a lot! The keyboard is fully RGB-backlit as well!
Talking about lighting there is an RGB strip on the front-edge of the laptop. It looks quite good, but is not distracting or anything like that.
