On Monday Apple unveiled their latest Macbook, which they touted as their thinnest Macbook yet. Of course all of the Apple fanboys thought it was the best thing ever, but ASUS had something to say about it and their own ZenBook UX305. ASUS North American posted the below photo on their twitter page.
It shows that the UX305 is only 12.3 mm thick making it actually thinner than the brand new MacBook. They also mention that the UX305 is about half the price of the MacBook. That seems about right as the new MacBook starts at $1299 and I found the UX305 for $774.99 at my favorite online retailer. Both systems are pretty close in specifications.
The ZenBook UX305 also comes in a Quad-HD version that touts a 3200 x 1800 display, which is a higher resolution than the 2304 x 1440 resolution on the MacBook. ASUS also pointed this out as well!
So what would you rather have the ASUS ZenBook UX305 or Apple’s latest MacBook?
