ASUS has unveiled that the company will be announcing a gaming tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 in the coming days. According to the company, this is going to be the “World’s Most Powerful Gaming Tablet.”
A tweet by the company says that the virtual launch of the tablet will take place during a virtual launch event on January 4, 2022, at 11 am PT (2 pm ET). A large number of announcements are going to be made during CES week, you can visit the ASUS ROG CES page if you don’t want to miss this important announcement.
If we see the sideways render shared by ASUS, the tablet seems more like a 2-in-1. “ROG Flow” is stamped on the bottom of the chassis. Keeping in mind the leaks by @evleaks about a ROG Flow Z13 render back at the end of October, we can expect it could be exactly what the above-mentioned new device is.
The teaser image shows many parts, including USB Type-A and Type-C connectors, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and what seems to be an XG Mobile slot which is an external GPU (eGPU) device in a portable form factor.
According to reports, ASUS may announce a new XG Mobile device at CES, compatible with this ROG Flow “tablet.” There is a chance of it being supported by a mobile GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.
The world’s most powerful gaming tablet is coming to #CES2022.
