It’s always nice to get a break here at CES 2023, and Cooler Master had just the products to assist with that. Everything from racing rigs to massaging chairs were on display, and we wanted to share our thoughts on a few of them.

Dyn X Racing Rig

The first chair we took a look at is less of an actual chair, and more of an ecosystem for racing game enthusiasts. This frame is not designed for standard seating use, but instead for a full racing simulator experience. By adding your own steering wheel and pedal combination, or even flying peripherals, you can customize the Dyn X to your liking, and then experience a more immersive experience depending on the haptics on the components you utilize. The chair in the Dyn X will also be available as a standalone, and a wraparound monitor stand is also available. Cooler Master had three screens set up in their demo, and racing around the track in an F1 car was a pretty great experience. We don’t have any pricing yet, but we expect to see the Dyn X become available towards the end of this quarter.

Synk X

The Synk X is another immersive haptic chair that is functional across multiple platforms. Our demo of the chair had us watching the trailer for Top Gun: Maverick on a tablet that was connected to the chair, while we also had on a Cooler Master headset for audio. As soon as the action started, the chair came to life, with rumbles and shakes that were more intense than you would expect to come from the chair just by looking at it. A collapsible leg rest tucks back under the chair, but is there for you if you want to kick back for a longer gaming or entertainment session. The Synk X is available now for $1,299.

Motion 1

Teaming up with D-Box for this chair, Cooler Master is bringing a list of curated entertainment to a seat near you. This partnership allows you to enjoy compatible games, movies, and music with an emphasis on haptic feedback that has been engineered to add a new level of immersion to your entertainment regiment. There are currently 120 games that have D-Box support, and therefore the Motion 1 has support for these titles as well. Additionally, a large list of movies and music are available, and all of this content is being added to on a regular basis. If your particular entertainment title isn’t currently optimized for this use, the Motion 1 will use the audio signal to provide feedback. Available early in the second quarter, the Motion 1 will be priced at $2,299.

Hybrid M

Adding to the range of new seating options being shown at CES 2023, is the Hybrid M. The Hybrid M adds a back massaging feature to your seat, which can be controlled with not only an armrest-mounted control, but an app as well. And the Hybrid M doesn’t always have to be plugged in to provide that relaxing massage, as there is a 15,000mAh battery pack built in. The included power adapter also doubles as a laptop charger, which adds a bit of extra value to the purchase. Available early in the third quarter, the Hybrid M will be priced at $799.
