Checking out the Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-ALPHA At CES 2016

Announced this week at CES was Corsair’s Carbide Series SPEC-ALPHA gaming case. This case has a very different look that what we expect to see from Corsair, but we really like the design. The best thing about this case is that it will come to retail for around $80!

Corsair will be offering the SPEC-ALPHA in both a white and red version and a black and silver version. The white and red version will come with two red 120 mm intake fans, while the black and silver version will have two white LED fans. Both cases will also have a 120 mm exhaust fan, which makes a total of 3 fans included with the case. The case comes with a fan controller as well. There is a large side panel window that allows you to show off your hardware inside.

Inside the case you have room for an ATX power supply, longer graphics cards, a full-size ATX power supply and three hard drives. There is actually a good amount of space inside to work with because Corsair has removed the 5.25-inch drive bays from the case. This allows for longer graphics cards and a 240 mm radiator in the front of the case.

Again, the best part of this case is that it is going to retail for around $80! Expect to see this case in stores in March.
