Building on the success of their wildly popular MX switches, Cherry has developed their own house branded MX red switch equipped board, the MX Board 6.0. Using proprietary tech they have decreased the response time of the keyboard to 1 ms. This speed actually hits the full limit of USB 3.0 giving you the fastest possible key response. In addition, they have switched to an analog system eliminating key ghosting, and 100% N key roll over. These features are part of what Cherry is calling RealKey Technology. The board itself is aimed at professional typists, programmers, and those with extreme performance needs.
The board also features fully back lit keys and a magnetically attached palm rest. Look for the Cherry MX Board 6.0 this spring. The MSRP will be $219 and will ship in the U.S. with a 3 year warranty.
