Final Thoughts on the Corsair iCUE LINK 3500X RGB Case

After spending some time with this case and doing a full build inside there is a lot to like about this case, but it also does have some shortcomings.

First off, this case looks amazing! We’ve been waiting for a pillarless Corsair case and now we finally have one. With unobstructed views inside this is really a case for you to show off your build. The three included RGB fans also add to that and essentially make this case ready to go out of the box, but I would have liked to have seen at least a rear exhaust fan as well.

Talking about those fans this is the iCUE LINK version of this case so the fans are iCUE LINK compatible and the case does come with an iCUE LINK hub. This makes adding more Corsair iCUE LINK products into your system extremely easy. I was able to install iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB Liquid CPU Cooler and daisy-chain it into the controller quite easily. Now if you don’t want to be in the Corsair iCUE LINK ecosystem you can still get this case without any fans at all or even with three non-iCUE LINK fans.

Even though this case is not necessarily massive it does still have support for E-ATX motherboards and graphics cards as long as 410mm. Being able to support back-connect motherboards is also a big plus.

I was a bit disappointed to not find any rubber inserts on any of the cable routing holes. This just cleans things up a bit and of course gives your cables that extra layer of protection. Also I did notice the fans were a bit loud during our testing.

If you are looking for a case to show off your hardware and want to be in that Corsair ecosystem this is going to be a great case for that. Right now you can pick it up at our favorite online retailer for $149.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Corsair iCUE LINK 3500X RGB Case an 8 out of 10 score.
