Cougar 600M Gaming Mouse Review

Usage & Final Thoughts
I have been using the Cougar 600M for a few weeks now and I really do like it. I originally thought that I would not like how light the 600M is, but for my type of gaming it really does work quite well. I am able to move the mouse very quickly, without much effort at all. Another thing that I really like is how the mouse feels. The soft-grip touch makes using the mouse very comfortable and I like the extended left side, which allows my thumb to sit perfectly.

As I said I am mainly an FPS gamer so I have been playing Left 4 Dead 2, Payday 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2. The 600M fits perfectly to these games and I have really been enjoying using it. The mouse had just the right amount of buttons for these types of games and does not feel crowded. The sniper button of course helps when you are in sniper mode and the quickness of the mouse makes it quite easy to move around. After hours of gaming my hand did not hurt or feel that much fatigue. I also did not notice my hand slipping off the mouse or any of the buttons not registering.

We were quite impressed with the Cougar 700K keyboard and it looks like Cougar is continuing that trend with their 600M gaming mouse. It is a very solid gaming mouse and honestly I cannot find a single thing that I do not like about it. I would say it is a great mouse of FPS gaming.

Cougar did not slack on this mouse either. You have quality OMRON switches, an ANDS-9800 laser sensor, soft-touch feel, 8 programmable buttons, gaming-grade scroll wheel, a 32-bit ARM processor and 512KB of on-board memory, on the fly DPI adjustment and much more. It is really great to see a company jump into the eSports scene and put a lot of quality into their products.

Right now you can pick up the Cougar 600M at my favorite online retailer for $54.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Cougar 600M Gaming Mouse a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award.
