Crave PowerPack 2 50,000 mAh Rechargeable Battery Review

Final Thoughts

I’ve had a few smaller, sub-10 mAh battery packs in the past, and always seemed to bring them with me on trips, but never really get any good use out of them. They never seemed to do me much good or were so low on a charge that all they did was take up space and add weight to my bags. The Crave PowerPack 2 on the other hand has enough charging capacity with its 50,000 mAh battery to charge many of my devices multiple times before it needs charged itself. With an eight hour each way road trip coming up in just a few days, and two cell phones, two 10″ Amazon tablets, a Nintendo Switch, mirrorless camera, DJI drone, and action camera going along with us, I can definitely see the PowerPack 2 being put to good use.

The two small downsides I found with the PowerPack 2 (the short charging cable and lackluster carrying bag) don’t take too much away from the overall experience with the unit, but Crave could definitely go a long way in my book by providing a longer cable and better carrying solution. That being said, I can’t really find any faults with the PowerPack 2. It provides multiple ports and port types for charging multiple devices simultaneously, and also supports current fast charging technologies to get the most out of your devices. Available for $249.99 at our favorite online retailer, the Crave PowerPack 2 does come in priced above some of the other high-capacity options, though I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. The Crave PowerPack 2 earns an 8 out of 10.
