Testing – Video Testing
To start off our video testing we will be using the latest version of 3DMark and will be running the FireStrike benchmark on both its Normal setting and Extreme setting.
3DMark 11 is a little older, but will still give you a good idea of gaming performance. It was run on the Performance setting then again on the Extreme setting.
Unigine Heaven is an extremely popular tool for measuring GPU performance. It is used in almost every hardware test you’ll have seen in the last 2 years, omitting it simply isn’t an option. We are currently using v4.0 of the benchmark. The settings we used are: DirectX 11, Quality: Ultra, Tessellation: Extreme, Anti-Aliasing: x8, and we ran it at 3 different resolutions: 1920 x 1080, 1680 x 1050 and 1280 x 720.
