DataLocker Sentry K300 Encrypted Flash Drive Overview
The DataLocker Sentry is just about the size of a normal flash drive, albeit slightly longer. It is official dimensions of K300101mm x 22mm x 13mm and weighs in at 30 grams.
One thing that is definitely different from other hard drives is that you have a keypad on the drive. This is used to of course enter your password to access the drive. Towards the bottom of the drive you have a small activity LED and a small hole to connect a keyring or lanyard.
Another thing the K300 has that you won’t find on other encrypted drives in a OLED display. This allows the drive to support true alpha-numeric password based authentication and a full featured on-board menu system.
The top of the drive has a cap on it, which of course when removed reveals the USB Type-A connection. For those wondering this is a USB 3.1 drive.
