Dell Precision M3800 Mobile Workstation Powered by Intel Core i7 Haswell CPU Coming Soon

Dell will be soon launching a new Precision series mobile workstation laptop power driven by the latest 4th generation Intel Core i7 Haswell Processor called Dell Precision M3800 Mobile Workstation. It said to have a super high resolution display of 3200×1800 pixels which is pretty close to 4K resolution and said to give a tough time to Apple MacBook Pro by being its strong rival.

Although Dell hasn’t released much explained specifications yet but as per company’s info, Dell Precision M3800 is the lightest and thinnest workstation ever made in 2013. Not only this, it’s the first mobile workstation to weigh 4.5lbs with a thickness of just 18mm.

According to the sources, the Dell Precision M3800 will be powered by Intel Core i7 Haswell Processor. It contains 6MB of cache and has a core clock of up to 3.20GHz. The CPU also features Intel HD Graphics 4600. But Dell is seriously planning to use a NVIDIA Quadro K1100M 2GB to cater the graphics processing. Other than this, it is also expected to have a 16GB of RAM joined up with 1Tb of hard drive or 512 GB SSD for a much faster read/write speed. The M3800 will be 15.6inch display with a full HD 1080p base option.

It is also offering connectivity options such as, HDMI, USB 3.0, SD card reader and etc with no Ethernet port.

The Dell Precision M3800 is expected to have a price ranging from $1,699 to $1,999 depending on the configuration. No details on the launching have been revealed yet.
