Performance of the Endorfy Fortis 5 Black ARGB CPU Cooler
Our CPU cooler test system is made up of the follow components…
Case: Corsair iCUE LINK 3500X RGB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
Cooling: Endorfy Fortis 5 Black ARGB
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Gaming OC
Memory: Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 32GB Memory Kit
Storage: Samsung 990 Evo Plus

For testing we will be using AIDA64’s “CPU Package” reading for temperatures and we will also be using a RisePro sound level meter to record sound levels. Sound levels are recorded 3 inches above the top mesh of the case.
Idle readings are taken on the Windows 10 desktop an hour after the system has been turned on. Load 1 readings are taken using AIDA64’s system stability test with just the “CPU” selected. Load 2 readings are taken taken using AIDA64’s system stability test with both the “CPU” and “FPU” selected.

Thanks for a great review of a product from a new company. I would be interested in seeing some reviews of products from another new company: upHere. I just installed their UE2 Elite KC8C cooler which contains 8 heatpipes that are curved back to allow unlimited ram height. It seems to perform as well as other similar 2 fan coolers but some detailed comparisons would be interesting to others who want reasonably priced air coolers while still being able to have whatever argb ram dimms they want. Hopefully you’ll be able to arrange with upHere to review some of their coolers.
