Here at ThinkComputers we mainly know Enermax for their cooling solutions, but they also make power supplies. At CeBIT they are showing off a 650W 80PLUS Platinum power supply. We have seen fanless power supplies before, but what makes this one so special? The wattage for one, keeping 650W of power cool without a fan is pretty impressive.
Second the 80PLUS platinum certification, that means the unit will be 92% efficient at 50% load and 89% efficient at 100% load. The unit is also 100% modular, even the 24pin ATX and 8pin CPU power connectors can be removed. The unit does have a total of four 8+2 PCIe connectors so you should be able to use it in your gaming system.
