The next-gen consoles are just around the corner, and Ubisoft is fully adapting the 4k/60fps standard for all of their new games. The list includes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenix Rising, etc. Moreover, all these upcoming games will support “Smart Delivery” free upgrades.
You might have noticed that one game is missing from the list, that is Watch Dogs: Legion. It is because it offers two visual options, 4k/30fps with ray tracing and a 60fps performance option. It is assumed that the 60fps mode operates at a lower resolution but Ubisoft hasn’t specified it yet. Watch Dogs: Legion does not fall under the 4k/60fps standard.
The upcoming game lineup of Ubisoft is coming to next-gen, current-gen, and cloud platforms. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch on November 10 for the majority of platforms while it will be available for PS5 on November 12 or 19 depending on your region. Immortals Fenix Rising will launch on December 3, Far Cry 6 will launch on February 18, and Riders Republic will launch on February 25.
