Far Cry 6 Latest Story Trailer Portrays Giancarlo Esposito As A Menacing Villain

At the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live event, Ubisoft shared its latest Far Cry 6 story trailer. The whole trailer was focused upon the game’s villain—Yaran dictator Antón, who will be played by a renowned actor Giancarlo Esposito.

Initially, Far Cry 6 was scheduled to launch on February 18th, 2021, but Ubisoft had to delay the launch due to a production issue the pandemic brought. Now, the game will debut on October 7th for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Google Stadia.

Ubisoft partnered up with AMD to implement ray tracing, variable-rate shading, and FidelityFX Super Resolution in Far Cry 6’s PC version. As per the developers, it was really easy to integrate AMD’s FSR into the development pipeline, and it also offers a significant performance boost while retaining excellent image quality.
