A Look Inside
Taking the tempered glass side panel off the case and looking inside we can see that the Meshify C has a dual-compartment design. So most of your components will go in the top compartment, while the bottom is reserved for your power supply and larger hard drives. Since we do not have any 5.25-inch drive slots Fractal Design is able to make this case a little shorter length-wise.
Starting at the front of the case we find another Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 fan pre-installed. The front of the case supports either three 120 mm fans or two 140 mm fans. You can easily pop-off the front of the case to install these fans.
Taking a look at the motherboard tray we do have support for motherboards up to ATX. There is a groove in the motherboard tray to make room for cables on the backside of the case. This might limit larger motherboards, we will have to see. There are 4 cable routing holes with the rubber grommets installed to help out with cable routing.
At the bottom part of the case there is a full-length power supply cover with the Fractal Design logo on it. There are some ventilation holes that sit above where your power supply goes and there is a section of the front that can be removed to make room for fans or a radiator in the front of the case.
Taking the opposite side panel off the case we can get a look at the backside of the case. First we can see that section of the motherboard tray where Fractal Design wants you to route your cables. It comes with three pre-installed velcro ties. There is also a large SSD mount that supports up to three 2.5-inch hard drives.
At the bottom of the case under the power supply cover is a hard drive cage with two removable trays. These trays support both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives.
Inside the case you’ll also find a box of goodies which includes mounting hardware, zip ties, a user’s guide, and micro fiber cloth. I like that each different screw is in its own bag, it makes it easy to keep them all organized.
