G.SKILL is introducing a new overclocked memory specification with extremely low latency, rated at DDR5-6400 CL30-39-39-102, available in a 32GB (2x16GB) kit. This specification will be offered in the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal series, compatible with Intel XMP 3.0, as well as in the Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Trident Z5 Royal Neo series, which support the AMD EXPO profile.
This DDR5-6400 CL30 specification provides faster memory speeds and lower latency compared to the standard DDR5-4800 CL40. Due to its high-performance design, users should check that their motherboard and CPU are compatible.
The DDR5-6400 CL30 memory kits will feature Intel XMP 3.0 support on the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal series, and AMD EXPO support on the Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Trident Z5 Royal Neo series, allowing for straightforward overclocking through the motherboard BIOS. These kits will be available from G.SKILL’s global distribution partners starting in late August 2024.
