Gigabyte’s B560 AORUS series motherboards lacked the overclocking capabilities, but this has now changed as Gigabyte has released a new BIOS version for its GIGABYTE B560 AORUS motherboards. With the new BIOS installed, the Intel Core i9 11900K(F) series processor can achieve an overclock speed of 5.1 GHz on all cores. Moreover, the update also enables higher DDR4 RAM overclocking speeds for up to 5300MHz.
This is achievable because the BIOS utilises the 12+1 phases DrMOS power stage that has 60 Amps each for each VRM thermal design. Not only this, but the processor shows low operating temperature in Prime95 no AVX burn. Besides the efficient BIOS, the B560 AORUS motherboards useful features like 6 layers 2Oz ultra-cool PCB, full-covered VRM thermal design, and the latest Smart Fan 6 technology for temperature control help in providing high clock frequencies and low temps.
