It looks like we have another GPU clock speed world record as professional overclocker Roman “der8auer” Hartung has achieved a clock speed of 3.225 GHz using the PowerColor RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil Ultimate. The RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil Ultimate features AMD’s Navi 21 XTXH silicon (device ID 0x73AF) which is the highest binned RX 6900 XT chip and has improved clock speeds.
While the RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil Ultimate is already liquid cooled, der8auer when ahead and dismantled the liquid cooling solution and opted for LN2 cooling, dropping the temperature of the card to -87C! Doing this he was able to manage an overclock of 3.225 GHz!
