Real gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) has leaked online. A user on GTA Forums has posted a 3GB file full of 90 videos of GTA 6 footage. We are not sure how exactly the footage was obtained, but the leaker claims to be behind the recent Uber hack as well. What we do know is that this footage is indeed real. Reporters with sources close to Rockstar Games have confirmed this videos are authentic GTA 6 gameplay. “Not that there was much doubt, but I’ve confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend’s massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is indeed real,” Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reports.
“The footage is early and unfinished, of course. This is one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games.”
The leaked footage confirms earlier rumors that GTA 6 would indeed feature the series first playable female character in a sort of Bonnie and Clyde themed adventure. The game is set is a tropical Miami-like setting, which means we are going back to Vice city.
