NVIDIA is continuing their streak of offering PC games to SHIELD owners as Half-Life 2: Episode One is now available on the SHIELD tablet. The game is only available to SHIELD Tablet owners, not SHIELD console owners. This is not surprising as the game requires considerable processing power and only the Tegra K1 inside the SHIELD Tablet can handle that.
The mobile port of the game is very similar to the original PC version, although NVIDIA has added some extras in like an extra chapter for more story and action. The game is completely free for owners of the LTE version of the SHIELD Tablet. Owners of the WiFi variant of the SHIELD Tablet will have to shell out $7.99 for the game. The game is pretty large at 3GB, but if you are looking for an excellent FPS game on your tablet it is sure worth it.
