HAVIT HV-KB378L Gaming Keyboard Review

Today’s review is brought to us by a company that has not been on our radar, HAVIT. HAVIT was founded in 1998 and has years of experience bringing PC peripherals to users at an affordable cost. Keeping up with the latest in keyboard trends, HAVIT has created the KB-HV378L, an RGB mechanical keyboard. The HV-KB378L has a 104-key layout with a few interesting design choices, so let’s get right into it!

Special thanks to HAVIT for providing us with the HV-KB378L review sample!

Packaging

HAVIT utilizes Amazon’s services for both product storage and distribution, so our HV-KB378L came to us from an Amazon fulfillment center, and was packed in a quite large outer box. This larger outer box allowed the product box itself to get a little damaged during the shipping process, but other than a few external blemishes, our product was just fine. The HV-KB378L packaging consists of a black box surrounded by a white sleeve that shows off the keyboard itself, and lists a few of its features on the front side.

The back side of the box sleeve lists a few additional features and a list of specifications, along with a line drawing of the keyboard.

With the inner box out of the sleeve, we can then gain access to the internal packaging structure, which consists of two protective foam blocks to keep the keyboard in place, along with a thin foam sleeve to protect the keyboard itself.

In addition to the keyboard, a small user guide is included, along with a small feedback card and plastic key puller.
